Finally making it out for Sierra's big trip!

So while I was in labor and Cole was anxiously awaiting the news of Weston's arrival he kept himself partially busy (for a few minutes anyway) thinking of something he could do for Sierra to help her feel special in the transition.  And being the wonderful daddy that he is he sent her a gift card for Toys R Us... for whatever she wanted!  We had planned to head out maybe over the weekend... and then our little man wound up with jaundice and under the bili lights.... 

Weston was cleared of the lights yesterday so today was the big outing!  Sierra wondered through finding several things she liked.... but the top item on her list was a barbie car!  We now have the barbie beach cruiser.... equipped with seat belts, a baby doll bath tub and set, a new dry erase color and learn book, foaming bath soap, and colored bubbles!

Look Alikes... Just a little...

Once upon a time there was a little boy born on his grandfather's birthday... they were two peas in a pod!

And as that little boy grew up he not only shared a birthday with the grandpa but he shared his good looks too!

Long Lost Brothers

So I recently discovered that Bongo's brother that was the last one up for adoption with him from their litter is now a Broadmoore Dog!  He was adopted by a manager at Petsmart and then when he was 3-4 years old donated to the Broadmoore as they were looking for dogs to help keep the geese off the golf course.  Our neighbor across the street is a heads grounds keeper there and he and a co-worker noticed thier similarities.  Then in talking we realized they were brothers. 

 Ruger came by for a visit to meet Bongo today!  However... Bongo was at the groomers to get a super bath and be de-skunked!  Non the less... Here are some pictures I took of Ruger today and some pictures I have of Bongo.  Crazy how much they look alike and I look forward to them meeting in the future!

Fun in the Fountain

Today was full of fun.  We had two park play dates.... one for school and one for FRG.  The second landed us in the middle of something I wish we would have done much sooner this summer!  We went to a park with a fun "splash fountain" at it!  After our picnic lunch she was all about it despite not having her swim suit!  Here are some fun pictures of Sierra purely enjoying herself!!!  Hope you ENJOY!!! =)
