The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirl wind. We said goodbye to daddy and then started to get back into a routine. Just as we were getting started we came to a screeching halt as this year's cold and RSV hit our home. Here are some pictures to tell our story.
Sierra and I made a shoe box Smurf house one day during Weston's nap. Brought back memories of making shoe box book reports!
Weston with big smiles in his 9 month "Tough Guy" outfit from Papa Mike and Grandma Jeanette
The kiddos in their daddy gear (Sierra's pj's say "Daddy's girl" and Weston's shirt says "My Dad is Awesome!"
Loving each other
As Weston was starting to feel sick Sierra made a special crown for him at school to show him she hoped he felt better.... so sweet
Sierra worked really hard on making Valentines for all her little friends. She wrote her own name on the back of each one, helped make the eyes and thread the pencils through... They read "I'll Owl-ways be your friend."
Our little man trying to finally rest at the ER
Big Sister being a good sport and watching TONS of cartoons in the ER
Finally getting some sleep in the hospital crib
Getting my smiles back... and obviously not missing any meals... even when he could hardly breath!
Almost ready to go home!
Whew... and again, trying to get back in a good routine with some exercise for mommy, play time for both kiddos, and a some what kept house! OH... and by the way, we're now in the double digits counting down until daddy is home! Hooray!
