So we braved the 30,000+ crowd and waded through downtown Colorado Springs so Sierra could participate in the parade with her school. I had no idea it was supposed to be such a big deal until we headed there! Thank goodness for our neighbors that know me and the kids well. We met up with them and they watched Weston so I could do the parade with Sierra. We headed down to meet up with her school, running about 30 minutes late and got there in time to wait another 40 minutes! But in all it was a decent day, warm but not hot. And hopefully it was a lifetime memory making experience for Sierra. She loved watching the dancing gorillas and cows and other floats. And was proud to help pull the wagon with her class' project on it, "Happy City."
Enjoy the photos =)
